If the number you wanna block already called you, you may go to "Phone" app (it is on home screen by default) then tap the number you want to block, then in the bottom part of screen click "block". Doing this will prevent that number from calling or texting you. Screenshot_20230904_183110_Phone.jpg

If that is from a specific saved contact, you may go to contacts then tap the contact you want to block then click the "i" button. After that, the profile of the contact will appear and you will see at the right part of screen there is 3-dot button that says "More" click that and then "block contact".Screenshot_20230904_183713_Contacts.jpg

Hi there, bonrosales! To add to what Nabski said, here's a great article on how to block certain incoming calls on your Galaxy phone. Just a reminder though that when you block a number, you can no longer receive both calls and messages from them. 📵

However, you can look into third-party apps if you would like to have more flexibility when it comes to blocking either only calls or messages. Hope this helps! 😊

Hello bonrosales,

Let us try below and let me know if it's successful or not.

1) Select all your contacts except the number(s) you would like to Block and click Add to Favorites.

2) Launch the Settings app, and then select Notifications.

3) Select Do not disturb.

4) Tap the switch to activate Do not disturb. This feature mutes all calls, alerts, and notifications on your mobile device.

5) Now, go to Do not disturb exception list and select only what may applicable.

6) Please use other phone to try if the Do not disturb setup are both working blocking the calls while it received the messages.
