Routine when a game is being played doesn't seem to work

It used to work, but I noticed lately that this condition doesn't seem to work on my end:

I now have to select the games the routine is for:

It's still working on my older phone.

Now I have to revert to my workaround. It would have been easier if this condition would work cuz then I wouldn't have to modify the routines each time I install a game.

I think it's now kinda confused because the condition is being used in 3 routines even though each routine has its own combination of conditions. In these photos, number 3 should only start when someone called while a game is being played, number 2 should only work when I'm not using earbuds or wired earphones, and number 1 should always work.

But in the 1st picture today, number 3 is the one running. It wasn't like this before August software update. This setup used to work. 


I've replaced this condition in numbers 1 and 3 but still, number 2 won't work even though it's the only routine that has this condition.

I now have to get rid of this condition.

Hey there, EllisKai! I remember replying to your previous post recommending that you reset Bixby. Have you done it? 😊 If you haven't yet, here's how you can do so:

  1. Go to Settings > Apps
  2. Tap the Sort icon, and then toggle the switch next to Show system apps, then tap OK
  3. Tap Bixby Voice > Storage > Clear data > OK
  4. Repeat no. 3 for Bixby Routines, Bixby dictation, and Bixby Vision

After resetting Bixby, you can go ahead and set this routine up again. Sometimes it might just need a little refresher! 😆

Thanks for following up. I already did. And it didn't work. For this routine, selecting the specific apps makes this 100% reliable for now.

On the other post, i don't know how suddenly, it seems like Bixby is having a problem with my accent or pronunciation of mathematical operations while Google assistant isn't. Asking Bixby was effortless before. It only happens on mathematical operations.

Step 1. Launch the Samsung Members app, and then tap the Support icon for more options.

Step 2. Scroll and select Error reports.

Step 3. Choose a category of your concern. Select "Application".

Step 4. Choose the frequency of the issue you are experiencing. Enter issue details or attach a video or screenshot. Then press Send icons to complete the report.
