I've always been a fan of it even in older phone models (like S4, 2013) since dragging and dropping contents between split screen apps are helpful even before Apple and Google adopted split-screen in their UIs. Samsung had split-screen multitasking (I think) as early as the first S or Note lineups.
I think this update made copying of contents even better on my end:
Before this update, I had to split screen or pop up apps to drag-and-drop files. I can still use the share or upload buttons - that feels kinda ancient and tedious for me.
