Isn't there a Samsung Members Malaysia?

In the last few days, seems like there's been more posts from people outside of Canada, then from Canadians.

While everyone is welcome, it's just not always relevant for people in Canada.

one of the possible reasons is that the users might have randomly selected the country on the Samsung Members website and picked Malaysia, little did they know that the community is country specific

the best thing to do is to address their queries with courtesy or by simply reporting the post to community moderator (tap three dots on top right of the post)

Yeah, I think that I know how to report posts.. already done it.

Out of the last 10 posts, 7 - 8 were from Malaysians.. This has never happened before, in all the years I've been on Samsung Members Canada.

If that's the case, Samsung Members need to fix the issue.

One thing I noticed, which I think Samsung needs to correct it.
I was in UK before and instead of roaming using my Maxis line, I used a cheaper option, using a local sim for data.
Immediately, my Samsung members auto connect to UK region with no possiblity to change back.
Only when I enable my roaming and disconnect the local sim then everything goes back to normal.
Kind of weird as only Samsung Members app act this way while other apps are all fine.

Hi scinex,

Settings are configured to detect based on the service provider (in this case, local sim = UK and Maxis = MY)

This is primarily to ensure that the benefits section is reflected correctly as benefits are local and does not apply internationally.
