I think this is the worst software update Samsung has ever released.

Imagine having absolutely no information regarding the software update, having no schedule for the ONE UI modification for every phone. Was waiting for the introductory video about the "new" ONE UI 6 but theres none.

Nothing, I just thought it was insufficient. I was disappointed to understand that OneUI 6 was the supposedly the most exciting update that Samsung had to offer but its not.

I don't understand. Why are people so pressed about the software update schedule? Is everyone that impatient now? I mean, we all have working phones. One UI 6 does bring cool new features and settings, but does it really affect daily use so much so that people keep on yapping about it? But then, after updating and people find bugs or just minor things they don't like, here comes the wave of complaints again. It's a toxic, never-ending cycle. And it happens yearly. In short, walang kakuntetuhan.

Consumers are consumers, we spent money on our things and in exchange companies owe it to consumers to give us good things from our money, if we stuck with the "if it works, keep it as is" ideology years ago we'd still be at phones with those thick bezels and stuff. Consumers have the right to in this example ask for a software update schedule because they gave the company money and its the company's turn to give back, without the people pointing out flaws like delayed rollouts and not enough communications it'll just make companies think they can take money and barely make it worth it. The same applies to complaining about issues, consumers paid money so they can complain when something doesn't work right.

I definitely agree with the points you raised. Anyone can complain, and as customers, we all have the right to complain. At the end of the day, it's the manner on how it is done. Nowadays, customers can be offended and complain about anything, feeling as though we're being oppressed in some way and therefore have the right to be outraged. Truth is, many customers are so obsessed with being "right" and having "the right" that they never end up actually enjoying their purchased item or service.

While transparency is important, and I must admit there is a lack of clarity this time on the One UI 6 roll-out, understanding the logic of software upgrades on an Android skin is also useful information. Not to mention the age of the device and how that determines its place on the timeline. But truth is, consumers turn a blind-eye on these simple facts.

As consumers, we hold the power in a company's success. But if we want to see change, we must also be part of the change. Unfortunately, when something doesn't work right, a lot of customers complain without even attempting to report the issue using the proper channels. How can a company provide a fix when the issue doesn't reach the right people? And if we don't get the service we should be getting on one channel, do we complain right away or find other channels and give valuable feedback on previous unsuccessful attempts? (Let's not talk about the green/pink line issue here. That's something I am severely disappointed about as well.)

My point is, as customers, prioritizing better values, choosing better things to give our attention to. We are responsible for experiences that aren’t our fault all the time. This is part of life. We chose to be patrons of the Android platform, therefore we must also endure the pain of delays in update roll-out. Does that mean we shouldn't complain? Absolutely not.

Complaining is one thing, raising concerns is another. Never-ending yapping and entitlement is a whole different ball game. At the end of the day, I can't tell how my fellow customers in this platform how to act. The truth is, sometimes situations don't always go our way, and the healthiest thing we can do is report it and hope for the best, or find a different product/service that we'll be satisfied with.

How is it the worst? I have been using Galaxy phones since S4 and this One UI 6 has been the fastest Samsung has given a major software update when previously Samsung provides major updates from December omwards. Waiting for introductory videos or any details? Try looking at Samsung Newsroom iand their YouTube videos because I myself can see updates from Samsung, nstead of talking *** here without any full information. If you don't know how marketing works.
