Anyone else have a problem when after unlock phone the brightness goes all the way down?

I haven't noticed anything like that. You might want to try booting into recovery and clearing your system cache. Also double check your display settings.

I have to constantly adjust the display, and I did clear cache, didnt fix it.

Mine isn't doing that, but I've noticed the display isn't as bright as before in general since Beta 5

It's not a problem if you activate "Adaptive". The phone is simply adapting to your environment. If "Adaptive" is not activated, then it's a problem.

that is simply not true. I've never used adaptive mode and I've never had this issue he's describing.
you have it completely backwards. if adaptive mode is on, then it adapts to the lighting around you (hence the name) not the other way around

Please try clearing the system cache and rebooting your device.
