I was wondering if the stock Samsung Messages app supports RCS right now or will soon if it is not yet? I noticed when I receive pics they are fairly high res even from receiving them from my wife's iPhone. But videos are still crappy.
RCS is enabled on all Samsung phones. the carrier is the one that that to enable it on their end. unfortunately though, only carrier phones are being enabled and supported out the box.
The big 4 carriers are developing their own unified messaging app due next year. I imagine that's where their efforts will be going, not to Samsung's app. LOL, since the carriers do so much well, we'll see how that goes. Sarcasm switch off. 😉
