Issues at Coles and Kmart

Hi. Recently my Coles Mastercard is being declined at Kmart and Coles in Australia. The card is funded, there are no merchant blocks and it works everywhere else. Someone mentioned their POS systems had issues with Samsung Pay. I get this. I've contacted mastercard and no issues on their end at all... anyone have a similar experience?

I have exactly the same problem. Contacted Coles MC all checked out should work. And does work everywhere else. I checked with Coles no problems their end? ?

I'm finding all other cards are working there so it's got to be something to do with Samsung Pay / Google Wallet and Coles together. Because other cards work fine...

Now I'm seeing it at Target too 🤬🤬.

Maybe they want us to use coles "pay/wallet or what ever it's called. It works everywhere else just a glitch with coles related businesses

Their mobile wallet isn't a payment system. It's doing my head in. Coles, Target and Kmart! I'm currently fighting with Coles who insist it's an issue on the store side... but they all claim innocence. It's really frustrating.

Yes same. Online chat to coles they checked the credit card side said it's set up properly their end. Still won't work with coles related business. Beyond me. I think it started when samsung pay updated a few weeks ago

Just had an upgrade from Samsung store... wallet app is included. Maybe they have fixed the glitch?? We will see
