Show app icon in notifications again

It is mindblowing that Samsung thought it would be a good idea to take out the app icon and in many cases app name from the on screen notification. The entire purpose of a notification is to quickly know who messaged you. You don't want to have to read what app you just got a text from in ADDITION to what the notification is. Generally being able to quickly know what app just sent me a notification tells me if I should ignore it or not. I'd like to see app icons back in on screen notifications

have you tried the smart pop up feature? it pops up a bubble you can hit when you get notification. then it opens up a pop up

I'll give it a try but it isn't nearly as convenient. why not at least give us an option to have more usable notifications?

that's on the other extreme of being too obtrusive. I just want an option to get the old notifications back when we get the final release
