Hi guys, I am using Samsung M31 for past 3 years now. Since last 2 weeks or so, I am facing a problem like kind of a software glitch or something like that. I am normally using my phone, siddenly, out of nowhere, emergency number will be automatically dialled, the power screen showing power off , restart, emergency mode (off) will pop up, screen will turn off on its own. I do not know what is triggering these things. They will happen continuously for 15 20 minutes. Worst part is the emergency number dailing , i end it again dialled up, cut it , again dialled up on its own. I have not set up any emergency setting.

Any suggestion how to deal with this glitch.  While I am typing this , the glitch happened again. 112 was dialled up 12 times automatically. I tried the hard reset 3 times in last 4 weeks. No unnecessary setting is changed. No fraud app or software is present. Any help will be grateful.

Have you tried running your phone in safe mode to see if the problem persists?

If possible, try to update your phone to fix bugs.

Hi Rakshhith1! A bug could be causing this. You can go ahead and wipe out your cache partition. Doing so clears out temporary files from your phone's operating system. It also cleans up any extra files from apps you have already uninstalled. This can help resolve some issues as it clears out potential bugs. It's completely safe, and here's how you can do it:

  1. Turn off device
  2. Connect your device to a computer
  3. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons
  4. Once the Android recovery screen shows up, release all buttons
  5. Use the Volume Down button to hover over "Wipe cache partition"
  6. Press the Power button to select "Wipe cache partition"
  7. Use the Volume Down button to hover over "Yes"
  8. Again, use the Power button to select and confirm your choice
  9. Wait for the system to wipe the cache
  10. Reboot your device like normal

Good luck and let me know if this works!
