Is this normal? My A52 is set to restart everyday every 3am so that I won't forget my password when I wake up and the device and apps will be optimized, but I always wake up with 20% less battery percentage left, If I slept and my phone has 70% battery, I would wake up with 50% battery left. Shouldn't the phone restarting itself use atleast 1% of battery? Got this awesome phone this year's March. I don't want battery issues, but my battery life with this phone is very very good.

What you're experiencing is what we call an idle drain. Yes, restarting your device will drain some percentage usually 1-3%, but aside from that, your device will also "recalibrate" itself again, and this uses more battery. Don't forget that if it is connected to a Wi-Fi network, background applications will start to work, even after a restart. I recommend auto restarting your device to a maximum of 3x a week, as you're always forced to type your password after some period of it being idle.

Restart aside, optimizing your device can help reduce battery drain. To do so, go to the Settings screen, tap Battery and device care and press Optimize now. With the quick optimization feature, it improves device performance by closing apps running in the background, managing abnormal battery usage, and scanning for crashed apps and malware.

Putting an unused app to Deep Sleep may also help with the battery drain. Uninstall unnecessary apps you aren't using. Turning off connectivity functions like the WiFi, Location and Bluetooth when not in use may also help.

If none of these worked after awhile, wait for the next software update as it may be the latest update causing your battery to drain faster.
