I'm a New Zealander and shortly going on holiday to Sri Lanka.
Should I buy a S23 (or other model) mobile phone duty free to bring back and use in NZ?
Any tips would be appreciated.
I'm not very knowledgeable so please use simple terms.

I would buy it here, then you can get used to all of it's features before you go on holiday

I would buy it here if the price was right. Sri Lanka duty free price is in the NZD 450.00 range.

You know how they say if it's too good to be true etc? Well they have just sent me the "updated" price and it was too good to be true. So, I won't be buying that!

Nah, you won't be able to use a warranty and features such as 5G may not work

Yes buy the 23ultra. All sorts of goodies on the camera for taking pics of your holiday

I am based in New Zealand Christchurch. I would highly suggest you buy the phone in New Zealand as only then can you get benefits of warranty. These devices don't have an international warranty.

Plus, I am selling my s24 ultra for a comparatively good price as compared to retailers here. Let me know if you are keen.
