Cannit receive messeges on messenger when application is off

Can someone give me support how to fix the issue as i cannot receive notification on messenger when the app is on background. I checked all the notification settings and it is normal. Thanks in advance

How is it set up?

Is it not in sleeping or deep sleeping apps?

Yeah. It is not in sleeping apps. And it was set up as the snapshot you showee.

Try clearing it's cache or data. Clearing data will log you off the app and will reset all it's settings. Your Facebook messenger personal data should not be affected.

And check for app update.

Does it happen in all the messages or just on group chat?

Try starting in android recovery then clear cache partition and repair apps.
I now use a different phone but the same thing happened with my Note20 Ultra 5G I think updating the app solved it - I update the app after repeatedly doing the previous stuff I told you. An update wasn't available for a while then. It just worked after I updated it when the update became available.

Before the update, I created a reminder (in Bixby routines) to check messages every night so I can catch up.

Now, I don't have this issue. I still don't receive notifications from people I blocked in group chat.

Is it the same while on wifi, other network or device?
