Facebook messenger call issue on a33

Whenever I make or answer calls on messenger app, it always says 'connecting' even though i have strong wifi connection.

Hello! Can you try this?

1. Long press messenger icon
2. Press "i" on the upper right hand corner of the pop up
3. Scroll down and press "Storage"
4. Press clear cache and check if this still happens

How bout clearing data, logging in again? Im just exhausting options aside from installing / reinstalling haha

I tried this one also and i reinstalled the app, but it's still the same. I guess i'll just wait for an update. :(

Cant think of any other solutions. Have you tried using another account? Seems crazy but yeah hahah

Messenger bug. Happens all the time to me wether on the stable version or the beta. Sometimes gets fixed on its own, sometimes only after I reboot the phone. I got used to it

I forgot, sometimes its the one you're calling or trying to call you that's got the weak connection

Yeah that could be too. But i tried calling my siblings phone with the same wifi still the same bug. The call works on my laptop and other phone but not on my a33. :(
