1 wind coming from the East
2 wind coming from the West 
3 wind coming from the East heading West
4 wind coming from the West heading East

The answer is the weather channel app has got it mixed up it's actually a Westerly ie the wind is coming from the West.

I've been following it for a while since it got changed in iu7 and it has been back to front

Click on the wind icon it will take you to the website and show the correct wind direction which is a Westerly 1748820300030.jpg

No the wind is coming from the West. Someone has stuffed it up after the UI7 update it should be pointing west.
