When plugging external speakers through audio jack of laptop (windows 11; Acer nitro 7); all okay. when plugging external speakers into 4K monitor audio jack (visual connected via HDMI) I get low volume - around 30% of what should pump through
laptop > monitor: high quality-HDMI
External speakers > monitor: audio jack
Restarted laptop, updated drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled monitor drivers, checked physical connectors and connections, checked manual volume controls, adjusted frequency (Hz) from studio 14400 to DVD/CD/FM quality with no difference.
