Hello,

I got a pink line in the middle of the screen just a week ago.
The phone was not dropped, I just saw it when I turned the phone on.
I tried to reach out to customer service center, they asked me to factory reset the phone but it didn't help.
I was asked to go to a service center but the estimate is way too expensive.
What's the next step for me?

Thank you in advance for those who will respond! 😘

Dami na dito naka-same problem. PINKLINE, WHITELINE, GREENLINE.. whatever. Check the discussions here in Samsung Members Community, almost daily me nagproblema sa screen ng S20, S21 Series phones.

To make long story short, SAMSUNG PHL will offer you a 30% discount for your screen replacement-- costing 15k-20k, but with the condition that you buy 10K worth of their Product. 😳

Parang yung iba free na yung repair when they bought something worth 10K. Still not the best option though.

Walang FREE repair or screen replacement, DISCOUNT lang. Then, kung gagastos ka sa replacement, baka babalik magka-pinkline ulit? kasi walang explanation ng dahilan bakit nagka line mga phones ng Samsung.

I agree with the fact that the brand needs to address the pink/green/white line issue as there's already numerous reports in different regions.

And yes, may free. Screenshot from a community member who got their repair service at no cost after purchasing something worth 10K. I guess it depends on the service center (which clearly should not be kasi dapat streamlined across all locations) but there's nothing we can do since majority of these places are third party service providers. I sincerely hope Samsung addresses this soon.SmartSelect_20230124_041926_Samsung Members_1000002434_1674505412.jpg

Is this offered now? Isa pa, magulo ang Samsung Phl, hindi uniform ang repair offer nila, yong i-post nila in print sa MEMBERS, para di na kailangan tawag ng tawag sa Support, eh wala naman resolution. I tried this route many times.

Community member had the repair around mid-December. Not sure if it's still offered, but I'd like to think that it should still be the same. And yes I agree, hindi uniform because again - the repair services are offered by a Third Party provider (if I'm not mistaken), hindi direct from Samsung. Agree ako maraming kailangan ayusin sa post-sale services nila. I just hope they act on this soon since marami na affected.

I'm sure NO FREE REPAIR offer sa December, coz my Note20-Ultra, S-20 series pa rin, GREENLINE started ng first week. I worked it out hard to get it fixed before Christmas. Wala eh. 30% DISCOUNT kung me purchase tayo ng 10k Product niya. Greedy offer for us long time Samsung product users. You know, pati my vacuum cleaner, 2 models na nagamit ko, at my window type aircons-- of course, SAMSUNG! Taksil 🤔?
