Problem with long pressing texts in the galler app to extract them in One UI 5

Anybody else having a problem with this? I've seen videos where they can just long press on images with texts to select the text without needing to press the extract text button on the lower right. This doesn't seem to work on my phone. It's not really a big problem for me but I'm just wondering since I cant find a setting to enable this.

Please, you may report this error through Samsung Members app here as follows:

Step 1. Long press Samsung Members icon on Apps screen and Tap Error reports.

Step 2. Tap OK on agreement popup for sending system log data.

Step 3. Select Symptom category. Tap "Settings/System".

Step 4. Describe problem in detail and SEND.

Works fine with mine. Try clearing cache of your gallery app. It's automatically enabled for OneUI 5.

Nope, clearing the gallery's cache didn't do anything

Confirming the feature works for me. Without setting anything. It also has auto detect especially for screen grabs with text. Have you restarted your phone? I had some apps hang yesterday. It felt like not all my installed 2nd & 3rd party, including Google apps have updated to accomodate the new version.

Yup, I have restarted my phone a couple of times the past few days and didnt see any changes

Interesting. Perhaps gone the same way as the Expert Raw for those who have not installed it prior to upgrading to UI5.0
