C) Check Do not disturb schedule.

Step 2. Touch and hold the Do not disturb icon to open up its settings menu.

Step 3. From here, you can add a schedule. Just tap Add scheduleOn some devices, you may have to tap Turn on as scheduled instead, and then tap Add (the plus sign) in the top right corner.

Step 4. Enter a title and your desired preferences, and then tap Save.

Step 5. Tap the switch next to your new schedule to turn it on or off.

D) Check Set up exceptions.

Step 1. Open the Quick settings panel by swiping down from the top of the screen.

Step 2. Touch and hold the Do not disturb icon to open up its settings menu.

Step 3. Swipe to the Exceptions section, and then select from the displayed options.

  • Calls, messages, and conversations:
  • Alarms and sounds:
  • Apps:

Step 4. You can also control what notifications are hidden by tapping Hide notifications. Critical notifications about phone activity or status will never be hidden.

  • Hide all: All notifications that are not subject to an exception will be hidden.
  • When the screen is off:  Full screen notifications, like phone calls, can be disabled.
  • When the screen is on: You can prevent notifications from appearing as icon badges, in the notification panel, in the status bar, and in pop-up.

Upon checking the above Do not Disturb settings, you can disable them as you please.
