A few months ago, quickshare completely stopped working. No one is able to send files to me using quickshare anymore.
This is not something that happens once in while -- it is a permanent inability to receive files from any Samsung phone. Quickshare has stopped working 100% of the time when trying to receive a file.
Senders are able to find my phone no problem, but they always get a message saying my phone didn't respond.
I have deleted the cache partition, restarted the phone, deleted all of the quickshare app's cache and data, and I don't use any VPN software, and I'm also on the same wifi network as the sender.
What happens is that when someone tries to send me a file, my quickshare freezes and the sender gets a message saying that my phone didn't respond. On my phone, I see that the quickshare app has launched but it has frozen. My homescreen gets frozen. I have to use the app switcher to unfreeze the screen.
I can see the quickshare 'app' in the task switcher, and it is frozen.
Has anyone found a solution to this?

Check your router modem and be sure ap isolation is not turned on. This stops devices in the same network, communicating with each other. Possible fix, but if not, i would have a good look at permissions.
