Hello Djm78,

Thank you for letting us know that your Samsung Health app sleep tracking is not working for your Samsung Galaxy S21.

A) First, ensure that your device is up-to-date with the latest Software updates.

Settings > About Phone > Software Updates > Download and Install > Follow On-screen instructions.

Samsung Health app not just tracks your daily sleep, but helps keep a record over days or weeks. You think you can only monitor your sleep routine on a daily basis. If you feel you haven’t been getting the right amount of sleep or you feel fatigued every morning, here’s what you can do—you can access your sleep performance over days, weeks, and months and see if you have been experiencing a disturbed sleep pattern.

B) You may follow below simple steps:

Step 1.  Open Samsung Health on your Samsung Galaxy S21.

Step 2. Track your daily performance.

To see if you have been sleeping well, all you have to do is select the ‘Sleep’ tab and scroll down to see your sleep stages such as REM, light, awake time, and deep sleep.

Step 3. Set a target.

To ensure that you get your adequate sleep every day, tap on ‘Set Target’ and punch in your ‘Bedtime’ hour and ‘Wake-up’ hour on the app and you are all set to refresh your sleep cycle!

C) Set Locating Settings On and Off Quickly.

Your device uses a combination of Wi-Fi, GPS and mobile networks to determine your location.
You can switch Location on and off, and change how your device determines your location.

Step 1. Use two fingers held slightly apart to pull down the extended menu.
Step 2. Then tap the Location icon to turn it on or off. Note that you can also switch Location on and off in Settings.

D) Adjusting Location Settings.

Step 1. Tap Apps.
Step 2. Tap Settings.
Step 3. Tap Privacy .
Step 4. Tap Location.
Step 5. Turn Location on by moving the slider at the top of the screen to on.
Step 6.  Tap Locating Method.
Step 7. Choose which method you wish your device to use.

GPS, Wi-Fi, and mobile networks - This option has the highest level of accuracy. Data charges may apply.

Wi-Fi and mobile networks - This option uses only Wi-Fi and mobile networks. Data charges may apply.

GPS only - This option uses only GPS to estimate your location.

This response is not at all related to the question. It says the sleep tracking is not working and your answer is to record your own sleep and turn on location settings...what??? How are a Samsung moderator?
