SupportHello Aedyyy,
We are sorry to hear about your experience with your Samsung Galaxy S23+ having overheating issues whenever you are playing Spotify, and we apologize for the inconvenience it caused you.
It's a good thing that you were able to identify that your device was having an overheating episode only while playing the Spotify app, and if it happens on my device, I will get worried too.
And it's a good habit to utilize a periodic break in between in order to manage phone usage. As you may be already aware, the start of summer is a few days away, and the environment is one factor affecting battery life.
Continuing to use your device when the weather outside is at 30 degrees may contribute to overheating your device.
In order to optimize your device's usage time you may do the following:
Step 1. Go to 'Battery and device care' in Settings.
Step 2. Tap 'Optimize now' to check apps with high background battery usage.

If that doesn't fix the problem, you may submit an error report through Samsung Members app as follows:
Step 1. Long press Samsung Members icon on Apps screen and tap Error reports.
Step 2. Tap OK on agreement popup to send system log data.
Step 3. Select Symptom category "Power/Battery/Charging".
Step 4. Describe the problem in details and SEND.

If the problem persist, you may at your own choosing, uninstall the Spotify app that is causing your device to overheat.
