Time required to get phone screen changed at Samsung customer service centre

Hi all, anyone able to advise whether the Samsung Customer Service Centre is able to do repairs on the spot? For my case is a green pixelated horizontal lie at the bottom of my fold 3. If they are not able to return me, I will need to loan a phone.

When u purchased the Fold 3 that time, do u have the free 1 year Care+ that comes bundled with the purchase? If u have, u can arrange for a repair to be done at home instead.

Thanks for the reply. But I don't think mine comes with it. As I bought it from lazada flagship store. But normally if I were to bring it to the customer service centre, do I need to leave it there for a few days for repair?

Hey there. Ah I see.. Yes, sadly.. so far I haven't heard of any repairs to be done on the spot at repair centres. Will definitely take a few days.. 😥 Only if have Care+, they offer free 1 time doorstep repair.

Understand. Thanks for the update! I have to loan a phone from them I guess. The customer chat are not able to advise me. They just kept saying that it depends on the availability of stocks and also whether there is huge crowd etc. But I did ask them roughly how long normally for this kind of case but no definite answer. Lucky they have loaner phones. So I can do loan on the spot.

You're welcome! 😊 Haha.. their service centres are usually packed.. but repairing a screen shouldn't take too long. If they actually have resources, just 3 to 4 hours will complete the repair. Great that they have loan devices, so that u can use in the meantime during the repair. I think u should be able to qualify for free repair, since it's uncommon for pixels to die that quickly.. must be a manufacturer defect.

Hope you can get it fixed ASAP, as I understand having it as a main phone means needing it to be fixed right away is of utmost importance and top priority. If it were to happen for my case, I would react the same too, wanting it to be fixed / replaced on the same day.

Sent my kids tab for screen issues. Send around noon by 6pm got a message for collection. But ovrt the counter they will advice they will try their best to expedite if not take a few days to repair.
