UI7 is a disaster!

I have updated to UI7 and it has been nothing short of a nightmare! Biggest one being that the 3 buttons (home, back, etc) don't work reliably at all. I have tried other online solutions but nothing works. If it doesn't get repaired I will have to change phone and won't be going Samsung again!

First if all, what phone did you update. I have found UI7 to be great with a few tweaks. As for buttons, I didn't think anyone actually uses them anymore, I have been swiping for a few years now. Saying UI7 is a disaster is a tad extreme, just because you dont like some things. Have you also rebooted your phone after it was updated. Lots of help articles online to help you understand and hopefully fix YOUR issues. Happy to help if I can

Appreciate your reply, but I do notice smart phones are like religions, everyone believes theirs to be infallible. I personally don't know anyone that doesn't use the buttons, we are not tech freaks, just people that want to use a phone. If Samsung just had phone support or an easy way to contact them I would be happy to let them have a look.
As for my problem, I am not unique, I tried to use the solutions I found from Googling (including a restart) but nothing has worked, I am hoping to get Samsung attention, because all I want is a phone that works. Too busy to be chasing them.

I agree 100%. Been using Samsung phones for years and never had the problems I'm having now. Have rebooted 3 times, Googled troubleshooting - nothing suggested has worked. I'm getting adverts every few seconds :0(

I prefer the buttons fortunately mine work ok
The biggest disappointment for me is that dex will not run. It was one of the reasons I have this phone.

Oh wow. Have a mate with the same phone and he is also having issues. I have the fold 5 and it's working great, incl dex which is smoother and faster. I hope they get to the bottom of the issues quick

My previous Samsung device (Galaxy A51) supported this feature, and my hearing aids still connect seamlessly to my tablet, so I know they are compatible.

This omission was not clearly disclosed in product specifications or marketing materials. For users who rely on hearing aid streaming for accessibility, this is a significant downgrade—especially when moving to a newer device. I would strongly urge Samsung to:

- Clearly label ASHA support (or lack thereof) in product listings.
- Consider enabling ASHA via software update if hardware permits.
- Avoid removing accessibility features from newer models without transparent communication.

I chose Samsung for its reliability and accessibility support. Please don’t let budget-tier models quietly drop essential features that impact real users.
