I have 2 galaxy A8 tablets and both have trouble charging. I've tried different chargers but it's either really slow, doesn't charge or tells me to check the connection. I've read in not the only one. Any ideas?
The wall plug (charger), and cable have to be correct in terms of specs, minimum wattage. Pretend you are buying and look at the specs in Amazon or alternative, or google compare phone chargers. Also if you have a charger that allows two (or more) cables/devices to be charged at the same time, connect only one device. Some specs share two charging ports so a 10 watt charger really only provide 5 watts for a port sometimes even when only one device is connected. If you want to look at the charging rate load an app called Ampere. Note watch how the rate varies as chargers vary their rate whilst charging, presumably to protectt your battery. And charge at a lower rate when nearly fully charged.. Whilst different devices have different maximum charging rates most Samsung devices maximum is 15W.
