Free Keyboard Redemption

We purchase a Galaxy A8 (WIFI only) tablet last weekend and I want to redeem the free keyboard that comes with it. However, the device doesn't have an IMEI which is required in the samsung redemption website, any insights how I can proceed with this? Thanks!

The Wi-Fi version doesn't have a SIM slot.

I understand that. So, I'm gonna need to find a way to redeem the item without the IMEI in the samsung redemtion page.

You can use the Serial number instead.

It should work. I purchased an S7 FE WiFi and redeemed the keyboard using the SN.

Your Samsung Galaxy A8 Tab only supports Wi-Fi, so it does not have an IMEI number. However, you can redeem your Free Keyboard by finding a different identifier.

A) Locate your Samsung Galaxy A8 Tablet Model & Serial number.

• The back of your device: The serial number is printed in small text on the back of the device near the bottom.
• The packaging: The original box may list the device's full serial number.
• Bill of sale: Review your sales receipt or contract for your device's serial number.

B) Assistance through Remote Support in Samsung Members app.

• Open Samsung Members app.
• Tap Supports at the lower right of the screen.
• Go to Quick Help.
• Tap Remote supports.
