GALAXY TAB A8 SM-X200 WHICH VERSION IS THE 2021 OR 2022 (TRYING TO FIND A CASE TO FIT)

Hi I just got a galaxy tab a8..
looking for cases and keyboard (together in a folio or separately either ok) but something fairly tough,durable

I've noticed that some cases (infiland and others) indicate they fit the A8 *2022* release only.

I had seen a8 tablet listings as "2021" or "2022"

but I have yet to know which version of the A8 I have to select a properly fitting case.

Hi Laura. As a test I triied to find the year of manufacture in my Samsung J8 before I posted. Every other bit of information but not year of manufacture. Used model number to Google and to search Wiki.so far no luck. I have not found it in writing anywhere, searched phone specs for this member's phone model in specs on main Samsung web page. I know it is somewhere but I just haven't found it.

Not sure, google "gsmarena galaxy tab a8 sm-x200" The gsmarena website is one of the best. Also try googling without "gsmarena" but adding actual serial number. Seems to have been released in January 2022 which implies year of manufacture is 2021.
