Tablets- Press and hold the Fn key and the F5 key simultaneously to unlock or lock the touchpad.

- Check your touchpad settings.
In Windows, go to Settings, and select Devices or Bluetooth & devices. Select Touchpad, and review the settings there. For instance, if you have an external mouse connected, your touchpad might be disabled while the mouse is connected.

TabletsHi @Anneabell1, that's strange. As you've mentioned the device not being able to turn on, I suggest the troubleshooting steps from the below user manual to attempt to force reset:
1. If your device is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold the Power key for more than
10 seconds until the device turns off. Then, press and hold the Power key again to restart it.

If the issue persists, I recommend for you to head into your nearest authorised service centre with your proof of purchase so that we can take a closer look into this. Please be aware that due to our Privacy Policy, your device may be factory reset before being assessed.
