Thank you for reaching out to us to inquire about the solution to your Samsung Keyboard not working with your Samsung Galaxy Tab S6.

What follows are some basic steps to identify what's causing the problem with solutions, if possible.
A) First, we need to ensure that your Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is up-to-date with the latest Software updates.
Settings > About device > Software Updates > Download, if available > Install > Follow On-Screen notifications/messages.
B) Restarting the Keyboard
Go to General management > Select Samsung Keyboard settings > Select Reset to default settings > Reset keyboard settings.
C) Clear the Keyboard's Data
1) Uninstall and Re-Install Samsung Keyboard app.
2) Open Samsung Keyboard Settings > select Erase personalized predictions.
3) Double-check the app if is working properly.
D) Re start the device in Safe Mode
1) Simply hold the power button down until the phone powers off.
2) Power on the device and when the Samsung logo appears, press and hold the Volume down button.
3) If done correctly, Safe Mode will display on the bottom left corner of the screen.
4) From here, try using the keyboard and see if it is working normally.
E) Factory Reset
Ensure your data is all backed up > Navigate to your Settings app > Scroll down to find Backup & Reset, and tap on the Factory Reset option.
F) Samsung Service Center
If the problem persists, please bring your device to Samsung Authorized Service Center near you.

I have the same issue as @EDED28 without connect the keyboard for a few months then when want to connect again it show physical keyboard not connected!! It kinda of **bleep** for such product. Can we get a replacement cos the keyboard cover as it is not cheap for purchasing it

TabletsI tried everything here and some on the big thread...even safemode didn't work but on a whim I selected OneUI to get out of safemode, not my custom Nova Launcher. Keyboard worked. Swapped back to Nova Launcher and is fixed there too now. Just thought I'd report in case it helps others

TabletsSame problem on S3 tablet. Had given up on using the keyboard. Just tried tilting the cover forward and the keyboard is working. Kept moving it until I was able to type a letter. Then leaned it against something heavy to maintain it in the position. The keyboard cover tilts too far back to maintain the necessary position.
