The name of your TV appears on mobile devices and computers connected to your network. If you find that your TV's current name is long, gets confused with your other household devices, you are able to rename it. Follow the guide below to learn how to do so.

Renaming your TV
2023 Model TVs
1. Press the Home button on your remote control and then head to Settings
2. Navigate to All Settings
3. Select Connection then Device Name. Here you can change the name of your TV
2022 Model TVs
1. Press the Home button on your Samsung remote control then select Menu
2. Choose Settings then All Settings
3. Head to Connections then Device Name. Here you can change the name of your TV
2017 - 2021 Model TVs
1. Press the Home button on your Samsung remote control to bring up the Smart Hub and then select Settings.
2. Head to General then System Manager
3. Select Device Name
4. Choose User Input
5. Input your name of choice for your TV
- 2016 TVs: Settings > Network > Device Name
- 2014 - 2015 TVs: Menu > Network > Device Name
