Cleaning the Brush of your Jet Stick

When using your Jet Stick, there are time when foreign matter can get stuck in the brush. 

See the video below for how you can remove the brush, and then follow the steps for more details on how to safely remove foreign matter from the brush of your Jet Stick.

Note: 

  • If you have foreign matter clogged in the wheels of your Jet Stick, you will need to contact an authorised service centre for further support.

Cleaning the Soft Action Brush

When foreign matter remains on a Soft Action brush, remove with wet tissue or dry cloth.

Note:

  • Do not clean the spinning brush and suction part with water
  • Do not use the Soft Action brush to remove moisture, such as liquid and pet waste
  • When cleaning the brush, be careful not to catch your fingers in the fold of the brush

Step 1. Press the button, as seen in the image below, to eject the Soft Action Brush.

 Step 2. Take the brush out completely and carefully wipe away any remains with your wet tissue or dry cloth. You can then, push the brush back into the vacuum.

Cleaning the Turbo Action Brush

When a spinning brush is disassembled, the Turbo Action Brush's EZ Clean function automatically removes tangled foreign matter or hair. If the foreign matter is not removed, use scissors to remove it.  Please be careful NOT to cut the spinning brush.

Step 1. Press the button, as seen in the image below, to eject the Turbo Action Brush.

Step 2. Take the brush out completely and if you find that foreign matter is tangled or stuck, carefully cut away the remains with scissors. You can then, push the brush back into the vacuum.

Cleaning the Wet Brush

Note: 

  • If the spinning brush does not work even after cleaning the Soft Action Brush and Wet Brush, the overheating prevention device of the brush motor might be in operation. Wait 30 minutes or more to cool the motor and operate again
  • If a cloth or other foreign matter is vacuumed up and tangled with the spinning brush (drum), the spinning brush will stop working to protect the brush motor
  • After cleaning the brush, turn the power off and then on again
  • If a brush does not work after cleaning, turn the power off and then on again
  • When cleaning the brush, be careful not to catch your fingers in the fold of the brush

Step 1. Remove the cloth of your wet brush, and clean off any foreign matter with water.

 Step 2. Wring out all the water before placing it back onto your Jet Stick.
