Most Samsung TVs will allow you to turn on Game Mode to optimise the TV's settings for playing video games with a gaming console, such as a PlayStation™ or Xbox™. Turning on Game Mode lets the TV bypass some of the video processors which will cut down the amount of time the TV needs to process the video input from the game. You may notice a difference in the image quality. Follow the instructions below to access Game Mode Settings.

Accessing Game Mode Settings

You can enjoy an enhanced gaming experience on Samsung TV by using Game Mode. Game Mode is automatically activated when you connect your console game devices to your Samsung TV. A Samsung TV detects the connected game consoles such as Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch and it converts to the Game Mode automatically without any additional settings needing to be adjusted. Follow the steps below to manually switch on Game Mode.

Note: To ensure you can turn on Game Mode in the Settings menu, please make sure your PC or gaming console is connected to the appropriate HDMI input - and select the proper Source on the TV. If your TV doesn't allow you to turn on Game Mode in the menu it might be because your connected device is plugged into the wrong HDMI port.
