You can now get a quick overview of the current battery percentages of your various galaxy devices through the Battery Widget. By adding this widget to your home screen, you can ensure that other devices like your Galaxy Watch5 and or Galaxy Buds2 Pro are sufficiently charged at all times.

Note: Update your devices to the latest software to use this feature.

Adding Battery Widget to Galaxy Phone/Tab home screen

Step 1. Press and hold onto a blank space on your Home screen

Step 2. Tap on Widgets.

Step 3.  Tap on Battery and select which type of widget you would like to use, then tap on Add.

Your new Battery widget should appear on your Home screen.

Fantastic! Widget added. Unfortunately it won't work on my Samsung watch (active 2) as it is too old but my watch still works brilliantly so can't justify an upgrade.

Don't understand why my watch (7626) can show battery status on the app, but can't on the widget. Needs better compatibility for older models.

I used to put mine on the home screen, but now with the lock screen widgets, it goes there and saves me having to unlock my phone every time I want to check a widget.

Hi, I would like to suggest couple of things for battery widget.

1. For both versions of the widget add monochrome option(black and white)

2. Version of the widget where it shows a list(not circles), when it is shrinked to the smallest size, the bar that shows battery dissapears, please bring it back(in earlier version of the widget it wasn't like that)

Can you please add the ability to monitor my Tab S8 Ultra.

It is however great at what it does. Monitoring tags as well would be great. I also have a Note 20 that I use around the house. Would be nice to see the battery life on that too.

I would love the ability to monitor the battery status of my Galaxy Tab S8+ please consider adding this feature.

Thanks for your consideration!
