On edge panel used to call screenshot. Now is call AI select 

You can used S Pen🖋️ to do it of just your own finger that make more easy to control when come to do screenshot 

When tab on AI

The command will tell you 

Tab or draw something to select it 

Palm hand across the screen is easy one 

I do two finger closes together them start to either swipe from left to right or right to left 

Press volume down and power off button together you may preferred

This is based on Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra.

Your capture screen with power & volume decrease buttons works with S24 U. I have mine set up to tap the back on the phone 3x to take screenshot. For me I find this easier than using the button combination.

Yes there is usually more than one way, they all work, it allows ppl to use whatever is the preference.
