You can now get a quick overview of the current battery percentages of your various galaxy devices through the Battery Widget. By adding this widget to your home screen, you can ensure that other devices like your Galaxy Watch5 and or Galaxy Buds2 Pro are sufficiently charged at all times.

Note: Update your devices to the latest software to use this feature.

Adding Battery Widget to Galaxy Phone/Tab home screen

Step 1. Press and hold onto a blank space on your Home screen

Step 2. Tap on Widgets.

Step 3.  Tap on Battery and select which type of widget you would like to use, then tap on Add.

Your new Battery widget should appear on your Home screen.

Step 4.  To customise the widget further, you can press and hold on the widget and tap Settings.

Step 5. Here, you'll be able to settings like 'Devices to show' or background colour.

Now do you add an additional device to show on the Battery Widget? On the devices to show screen the list only shows  an Other Devices option to turn on. It is on however no other devices are showing on the battery widget list.  I would like to see the battery level for my Samsung Galaxy S7 FE Tablet.

Is it possible to display the Galaxy Tab's battery life on the Galaxy Phone's battery widget and vice versa?

I echo this suggestion. Showing phone/tablet battery status from and to each of them. Thanks!

NO, not good. I do not have a ring or a watch. I don't want that real estate taken up with those icons. It's an attempt to get you to buy stuff. It's annoying. I won't use this widget. Why did One UI 7.0 mess up the battery indicator. Everything battery indicator related is messed up now.
