TV & AudioJust had a QN90A delivered this morning. The antenna plug broke off in my hand when I plugged the cable in. Samsung say it's a 'user induced' fault. Plugging an antenna cable in is a user induced fault? Poor design and apparently a common problem. I noticed the socket was wobbly when I first plugged it in but assumed it was meant to be like that. $5,000 of tv, now useless. Anyone had a similar problem? Samsung have wiped their hands of me.

TV & AudioIf a product is defective, it must be repaired or replaced.Contact the ACCC and your local consumer affairs when Samsung fobs you off, which, in my case, it has finally done.

TV & AudioJust had the same issue - plug basically fell out and after days of going around with Samsung they have said it is not a manufacturing fault so I'm on my own. Ridiculous. This is a terrible design now there is nothing that can be done under warranty.

TV & AudioSame thing happened to us. Plugging in a brand new and expensive tv! Samsung say it’s not their fault! Ridiculous! They didn’t even offer an option to fix it! I rang a repair place and they said it’s the manufacturers job. I’ve been back and forth on the phone for 2 weeks now! So so fed up and will NEVER be buying a Samsung product again!

TV & AudioIt is amazing that Samsung try everything they can to get out of repairing our TV’s which are under warranty when it’s a common problem ie the aerial socket coming out of the tv. You can’t speak to anyone in authority, you get a call centre person in another country who can only answer your complaints with set replies. It’s disgusting and to say that it is our abuse of the tv that has caused the problem. I am the same, 3 month old tv which I was moving to clean, unplugged the aerial & power. The tv aerial socket came out with the aerial cable. I explained I have 6 Samsung TV’s in my house which I have moved around the rooms often & NEVER had a problem. Has anyone had a successful outcome where Samsung have actually repaired your tv under warranty. I will NEVER buy another Samsung product & will advise anyone I know the same. What a waste of money. Good luck everyone. PS Still waiting for a call back from the technical support which was promised 3 days ago!!!

TV & AudioSame thing just happened to us. 6-month-old 85" Frame QLED. Moved the box gently to dust it and off snapped the antenna connector. Thousands of dollars and now we can't get Free-To-Air. Samsung are letting down many, many (formerly) repeat customers and they must be held to account. We're going to contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and link them to these complaints. We need a 60 Minutes and / or Four Corners story on this too! Newspapers aren't gone completely either.
