hi, through smartthings can you connect to it ? I was wondering if you force an update through the USB port ,theoretically it could rewrite the software/fix some software errors
When your soundbar is powered off and you hold the volume button down, it should take you to the shop menu. It appears to be doing this, so that's good. The "SHOP NG" is essentially a confirmation of the selected option, so it's possible the + button represents confirm.
I'd suggest you keep turning the soundbar off, holding the volume button down, and attempting different buttons to find whichever lets you scroll through the menu. You should be able to scroll through options SHOP 1-6 until you reach SHOP OFF or something similar.
I bought a cheap remote and it works fine controlling the bar.
It seems to be stuck in SHOP1. I do what you said, and scroll through the options. I only have SHOP1-6 available. I do not have SHOP OFF available. I even try selecting a different SHOP #, it says, SHOP NG, but goes right back to SHOP 1 and MINVOL.
I even unplugged the thing for a few days hoping to clear out the memory.
So what no one mentioned in 100s of posts, is that the VOLUME + on the remote is what selects the mode you want. I updated the firmware and still no SHOP OFF option.
This is what I did:
1: Turn off sound bar. 2: Hold volume down on the soundbar until SHOP X appears. 3: Use the left/right ring on the remote to select which SHOP you want. Hold the VOLUME + on the remote UP until it selects the mode. 4:Turn on the sound bar.
I ended up using SHOP2. I have full control of all mode and sound is no longer stuck at MINVOL.
I searched for hours and couldnt find a list of what the different SHOP1-6 do. Hope this helps.
