TV & AudioI have a 2020 model 9.1.4 Samsung sound bar (HW-Q950T).
We have just moved into a new home and I will be setting up the sound bar in a small room (3.8m x 4.0m). The walls are plasterboard on timber frame.
Is there an easy method to test all the drivers within the sound bar to ensure they all are operating correctly?
My daughter had a party, and I believe the sound bar may have received a bit of punishment.🤔
I would also like to know the angle of the individual drivers, so that I can locate the sound bar and the main seating position, to maximise the effect of the reflections of the walls/ceiling.
Any help would be appreciated.

TV & AudioHi @Nordo, it would be a little complicated to explain in words but I have these pictures to help show the best position for your soundbar. The diagram from an aerial view below will show where all the sounds are from. Hope this helps!

TV & AudioThanks Laura.
I had seen the diagrams you have attached.
Based on the diagrams, and my understanding of the sound bar, and especially the Atmos system, I have assumed the first reflection points need to be hard surfaces which will allow maximum reflection, which in turn, will achieve maximum effect (please correct me if I'm wrong 😕).
To further increase the surround sound/Atmos effect, I thought there would be ideal positions (within any given room) for location of the speakers and the main listening position.
Theses positions would be not only based on uncoupling the speakers and listener from the walls, but for the listener, the ideal "receiving" position of the reflected sound from each individual driver.
Sorry if my explanation of what I am after is not particularly clear.

TV & AudioHi @Nordo, you're right there is an ideal position for the speakers! However this would be different for every person, as it is dependent on the size and layout of your room, the elevation of the speakers, and several other factors. The photos above are a rough guide for how the system could be set up, but the best way for you to set up would be based on your personal preferences.
The images can definitely be a starting point, but you can adjust from there as needed based off your environment. :)

TV & AudioI now have a new problem.
My system is a smart tv, my Q950T soundbar, a bluray player, and a htpc .
Using high high speed HDMI cables, the tv is connected to the soundbar using the ARC sockets on both devices. The player and the htpc are connected to the soundbar using the HDMI 1 and 2 input sockets. The HDMI to the htpc is to the HDMI output socket on it's Nvidia GT1030 video card.
The soundbar and tv see the bluray player, but only rarely can I get the htpc to connect. I've tried swapping cables, leaving out the player, but nothing seems to work.
This has been very frustrating.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
