I want to buy a Samsung HW-Q950A/XY 11.1.4ch Home Theatre Soundbar. https://www.samsung.com/au/audio-devices/soundbar/q950a-black-hw-q950a-xy/ BUT there is some confusion that it supports the "Hey Google" function. The page (about 2/3 of the way down) says it does BUT I have researched this and various people (even tech reviewers) in other GEOs in the world says (confirmed) it doesn't work in their GEO. Plus..... in the "Special Features" section of the page it confirms it works with Alexa BUT makes no mention of "Hey Google"
So I need to be completely sure else I will return it as I have Google Home network.

Hi @fraserp, thank you for your patience and I apologise for the delay in response. Our team has clarified that the soundbar supports Chromecast, while your Google Home devices can cast audio to the soundbar.
The Soundbar does support Google Chromecast but no support for Google Voice commands locally, you are able to control the device with other Google speakers but not directly on the device. Only audio cast support such as Spotify, YT Music, Amazon music, etc.
I'm trying to connect my Google Nest Mini and Google Nest Audio with my Q950A as default speaker and it does but when play something even direct from ex. spotify or say to Google Assistant to play it for me, it plays from Mini/Audio and not from my soundbar. If connect them with another speaker it works well. What going on? I want to use chromecast for multiroom music on my home... 1.200€ soundbar and it can't? Really?😣🤔
