The wall mount I have has screws that even with the supplied spacers are a bit to long for my new S95D

Anyone know what length screw I should be using on my S95D

For mounting your Samsung S95D TV, you should use M8 screws.

The length of the screws can vary depending on the thickness of your TV's back panel, the depth of the wall mount bracket, and any spacers used.

Generally, screws between 1.5 inches to 3 inches (approximately 38 mm to 76 mm) are appropriate.

If you have spacers or a particularly thick mount bracket, you might need to adjust the length accordingly.

It's always a good idea to check the specific requirements in your TV's manual or the wall mount instructions.

the installation instructions state M8 with only 5-6 mm in the TV. So I would use washers or spacers so only 5-6 mm or 1/4” of threads extend past the bracket into the TV.

Hey there,

Here is the installation guide for the Samsung S95D TV - there is some information on there regarding the screws!

The instructions you posted show a length of 5-6 mm (same as my TV instructions).

My wall mount came with M8 x12mm screws.  The shortest screws I could find was 10 mm.  I’ll have to add a few washers

I’m really concerned that 5-6 mm into an 80lb tv isn’t enough!
