I have just bought the above tv, setting up the voice assistant (as Alexa since Google is now not supported). I've also set up and logged in to all my subscription TV (Netflix, Prime, Disney etc). When using either the TV search or asking alexa to find a movie the results just show YouTube listing's. I've seen this issue posted across the internet for 6 months but with no fix.
I've updated TV firmware, I've accepted all privacy and checked the voice assistant settings.
There are no options in TV settings for search configuration
There are no options in app browser to choose if included in search results.
There are no option menus from within the search results.

Can someone please help with a fix?

Currently with this useless search function and no access to Google assistant I'm thinking of plugging my $100 Chrome cast into the most expensive TV I've bought as a solution. Crazy.

No ideas by anyone? Does your TV search option give you a full range of subscription TV results...? Seeing if this is just me or a wider issue... thanks

The functionality of this new TV I bought stinks. I can't believe there hasn't been a moderator comment or recommendation on this thread - unless no solution exist.

I bought a unit without voice search (the 10 year old TV it replaced had voice search so I stupidly assumed any new TV, at this price point, would come with voice search) I guess now I'm glad I didn't spend the extra money since I wouldn't have been any better off.

Time for a Sony!

Unfortunately it's a very common issue, which has been occurring for years now, with no known solution.
