What happened to Galaxy Home?

I absolutely love the idea of having a Galaxy Home or a Galaxy Home mini. Currently I am in the Google ecosystem with all the Google Home Minis/Max/Audio and Chromecasts and smart lights but I also use Bixby on my phone to control system controls (flashlight, etc) and I have SmartThings devices. 

I just hate that they announced the Galaxy Home during the Note 9 release, had working devices during the announcement and showed it off during the aftershow of the event. 

I would love to be able to buy a Galaxy Home so please Samsung, please tell us of the cancellation or any other news of why it was delayed to such an extent.
