WearablesMy watch dropped and hit the ground on its side - resulting in the glass cracking. I went to the Samsung website and found that a replacement glass face would cost $139. I made an appointment with the Samsung shop in Sydney to repair. When I went in I was told that the cost was more likley clsoe to $300 and that the $139 cost was not correct. I showed the assistant on the web page but he said it looked like the prices were wrong and that I would need to pay $66 to send the watch to a repairer for them to assess the cost as the besel may need replacing as well. A replacement watch is only $300 - so why would I pay $66 and most lilkey be told it would cost $300, the $66 would be deducted from the cost of repair. Not great as a new watch is $300 - so why bother. Really Samsung should just say throw it out as it is cheaper to get a new one. Such poor service and what a misleading web page.
I think time to get another fitbit rather than this watch.

WearablesHi @SusanT1, I am sorry to hear of the experience you had getting your watch fixed. Are you able to clarify which link advertised $139 repairs, as I have checked our price guide and am seeing a different price.
Please note our screen repair price guides are not final until the technician has made a full assessment of the damage to the device.
Below is the pricing guide for screen repairs of our watches:
