Hi @Nevd,

At Samsung, we are committed to giving our customers the very best mobile experience across our products. This includes providing software updates to bring new features to our older model devices.

From mid-December, the One UI 4 software update will be available for the Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch Active2 and Galaxy Watch3.

Customers who apply this software update will be able to enjoy new features including a refreshed range of watch faces and more ways to personalise their Galaxy Watch. For owners of the Galaxy Active2 and Galaxy Watch3, this this update will allow them to now measure Blood Pressure and ECG.

Never 😂

It needs approval from the Australian medical association I believe, which is why we still don't have it.

There are methods to get it, but that requires some messing around with patched files and/or changing the watches CSC, and so I never bothered.

Is there any update on this yet?
As itt just feels like it was a advertising gimmick to get people to buy their watches.

Hi @JohnnyP and @Yong_kim, in Australia, the Galaxy Watch ECG feature is currently under review with the relevant health authorities as part of standard process. Further updates will be provided as they become available.

When the update becomes available, we will update Community about it.

If you have any further questions or queries, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Are we to assume that IF this article is ture, and the fact that we still don't ecg enable. That this is only for the watch that is been released later this year?

Hi @JohnnyP, the Watch 4 will have ECG functionality in Australia. We can confirm that the Watch3 and Watch Active 2 will have ECG and Blood Pressure tracking functionality at a later date.

For more information, please see our official article here: https://news.samsung.com/au/samsung-announces-blood-pressure-tracking-and-tga-approved-electrocardio...

Hi Tina. Can you please advice when we can expect an update for the Watch 4? I still don’t have access to these 2 functions.
Thank you.
