Hi there, 👋

I am using a Galaxy Buds 2 Pro with my Galaxy A15 5G, the Buds constantly drop out and then start playing again when playing bluetooth music.

I am using the Samsung Music app, but it happens with any app.

Thanks to anyone that can help 👍

Hmmm I had the a16 previously, which is quite similar to the a15.

I also had something similar. I'd be playing a song while browsing internet, browsing YouTube and if I have too many apps opened, the music would stop.

I believe it's a RAM issue. The phones only have 4gb RAM which isn't quite enough to have too many apps opened at once.

I've since upgraded to an A35 and it's been great.

I believe the A26 and upwards will have 6gb of RAM, so I'd choose one of them if you're looking to upgrade!

Is your phone up to date?
Is your wearable app up to date as well?

(I work in IT, and most of the time, the problems occur just because they haven't been updated or restarted in a long time)

If that doesn't work, try:
Open wearable app>Buds 2>earbuds settings>about earbuds, check if the earbuds themselves are up to date as well.

If this still happens, we can use a more advanced approach

The app is up to date, and the buds are too.

Are the buds still connected when music drops out?

Or do you have to press play again in the music app?

They are still connected when the music drops out.

Try changing Bluetooth frequency under development mode.

Settings > About Phone > Software Information > Build Number

Tap 5 plus times to access development mode.

Frequently, it should be 1.6 or less, depending on the age of buds / headphones.

If other fixes don't work, it could be a sensor issue. The buds might be going into conversation mode or wrongly detecting a postural change/separation of the buds that will pause media. I know my Boss over-ear headphones do that a lot- if I'm bending over or doing yoga they will think I've taken them off and auto-pause media. Good luck.

True using Device Care, Auto Optimisation. Built in to your phone.

Also, it has a Clean widget.
