I am having compatibility issues with my new Samsung watch 6 classic. Basically it is a brick for me. I got the delivery and then proceeded to install it on my sim compatible tablet. Also on my phone. But nothing! I tried everything. The tablet will recognise the watch. But when I select it. A message pops up saying it will not connect to tablets (I researched the hell out to see about compatibility issues, NOTHING). It said it will connect to Galaxy health but. Yeah right. Install this and nothing. Cannot find app. I assume it would show up in wearable. Nope! Wearable will not recognise the watch.but does my buds. My ph will not even see it. I just spoke to help desk. She connect to tablet and even she could not fix problem. Now it seems all the hype from samsung points to them wanting you to buy the new phone with it! Because if so I am going to want a refund! I know my current Garmin smart watch works fine. And I now a Apple smart watch connects. Can anyone show me any options. My tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6. My phone is a ZTE Blade L5. Oh on both devices find my ear buds and my samsung tv.

Wearables

Make sure both your tablet and phone and running on Android 10 or higher with more than 1.5GB of RAM.

If I'm not mistaken, that's the minimum requirement for Watch 6.

from what I can see, Troy11's phone model can only run Android 5 (Lollipop) so it is quite outdated and definitely cannot connect to the watch.

Actually Android 11. And my tablet, latest update. But the watch will only connect to Galaxy Phones. Not tablets. Not even the new S9.

Sorry to say this, but according to Samsung, you cannot pair a Galaxy Watch to a Tablet. 1692083369002_1692083368992_0.png

Use, Bluetooth to connect between devices.

Keep, Bluetooth On to connect and keep up-to-date.

It is up to date. The problem is that, though it is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6. They felt that it should only connect to Galaxy phones. And only Galaxy phones. My tablet recognises it. But will not pair! I have wearable for my earbuds. Up to date. Nice surprise they gave me.

How to pair the Samsung Galaxy Watches to Samsung Galaxy Tablet?

The Samsung Galaxy Watches (up to the latest model) are not compatible to be paired with any Samsung Galaxy Tablet.

The Galaxy Watches are designed to work only on Samsung Galaxy mobile phones.

Can i connect my galaxy watch to my samsung tablet?

There are a few different ways to connect your SmartWatch to your tablet, depending on the type of device you have. If you have an Android Wear device, you can pair it with your tablet over Bluetooth by following these steps:

1. On your tablet, open the Settings app and tap "Bluetooth".
2. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on, then press the "Pair new device" button.
3. Select your SmartWatch from the list of available devices.
4. Follow the prompts on both devices to complete the pairing process.

If you have an Apple Watch, you can connect it to your iPad using the built-in Apple Watch app:

1. On your iPad, open the Apple Watch app and select "My Watch".
2. Tap "Pair New Watch", then follow the instructions on both devices to complete the process.

Cannot happen. You can only pair it through wearable. And if you are using a tablet. Wearable will not pair with it. No matter what you try. You cannot put the smartmwatch 6 classic in pairing mode out of the box. It will pair only with wearable.
