I just purchased a Galaxy Fit3 earlier and I'm wondering how waterproof is this? I am not a professional swimmer but I occassionally go for a swim with my family and friends (in pools most of the time). Is it okay not to remove this if what I'll do is just soak myself in pool water for minutes or even hours?

Wearableshttps://www.manua.ls/samsung/galaxy-fit-3/manual?p=76
refer to this Fit3 user guide, read it carefully
but again, this is only water and dust resistant as listed there, so take with your own risk

So this is not waterproof? I thought the watch is IP68 rated. But, just to be sure, I'll just remove this when swimming even in pools 😂 Thanks for the link of the user guide, though ♥️

There's no such thing as waterproof. It's based on the intended protection level. I had an active 2 before. Died first pool dive 😅. Watch 5 ultra now survives the pool wading and wallowing. All active watersports and diving I use the appropriate watch and NOT a Samsung.

To be honest, you're right. 😅 Just to be sure, I'll not use this while swimming 😂
