Get rid of the recycling bin

Samsung you need to either give an option to turn off the recycling bin or get rid of it entirely. 

It's a stupid feature to have on a phone. Most people with any self awareness don't need an I suppose failsafe feature like this. If I delete something I meant to so it!!!! Even if you keep the silly thing you could at least add an option to turn it off so things just permanently delete as soon as you press delete. Instead of all the unnecessary extra steps it takes now...

Actually the current solution works well.

Plenty of people use this, as not all customers are young, and so make mistakes.

As it currently stands, you don't need to do anything, the recycle bin will empty itself every 30 days.

Yeah I know but it should be an option to have it delete straight away... too much protection for the ignorant in this world.. but seriously, for those that are knowledgeable, it should be an option to just have it delete...

Just because you think you don't need this feature it doesn't mean it's not a good feature or that it has anything to do with one being "ignorant" or not "knowledgeable". It's quite disrespectful to say that, actually. 

I can agree with the first suggestion you gave which is to be able to enable or disable the recycle bin at individual app level. Some apps already let you do this (e.g. Messages, Contacts, Reminders). 

I don't think removing the Recycle Bin feature altogether is required or a good thing.

I mearly meant that there is too much cotton wool in society these days to protect stupidity and ignorance, so those people never end up learning anything. People only learn from mistakes, put too many safe guards in place and people never learn and get too complacent. Companies end up putting in these features without considering their overall necessity.

Or at the very least there should be an option of different time sets to choose from. I'd have mine set to delete after a day...

I love this feature. My daughter accidentally deleted a bunch of stuff on my other daughter's samsung phone which was important and we managed to recover it. A great example of how young people accidentally delete ***.
