j5 Pro audio files

I downloaded some audio files (.wav & .mp3) using Chrome. I can find and play the files in Chrome. But while they are listed in My Files, they will not play. I have created a folder on my home screen that links to My Files so that I can easily access both audio files and the score for the music. The pdf of the score opens, but the mp3 won't play – even if I click on 'Open with'. Any suggestions?
