One UI7 S24 Series Australia.

Hello all. 

What is actually going on with the update? It was slated for a global release on the 7th of April, with the USA and some EU countries ro recieve it 3 days later. AFAIK, this has come to be, however, in Australia- we are still waiting with no concrete information on when it's set to be released. 

Is it the end of the world? No. 

But companies should be held accountable for their actions or inactions accordingly. As users of their phones for business and personal purposes, we SHOULD be able to have some level of consistentcy and confidence in their products. Missed releases or lack of information directly from the "horse's mouth" breeds nothing but disappointment for the customer.

I hear (some) of you saying "But OneUI6.1 is stable... " and be that as it may, it doesn't negate the prior information. The tech space moves fast and for a global leader to not keep up with the current trends is a worrisome sign for the future.

There's no need to worry, Samsung has already released UI 7 with Pegeon and it's likely to be available soon. It's expected to reach Australia via flying over ocean

i just got the latest information from Samsung peageon, the peagon has reached to New Caledonia island near Australia it will take 2 days rest as it is saturday and sunday as it is specifically designed for Australian, and then will reach Australia..

I feel it'll be out by end of day Monday the 14th of April. The only way I can make this approximation has nothing to do with pigeons. I base it off the Vodafone Android Software Updates page. As of Friday it listed the S24 series phones, simply waiting for the status to change to "rolling out soon" at this stage. However, as with all things Samsung related there is zero transparency from the company itself, which leaves us all guessing. Literally want to throw my phone in ocean and never hear or speak of Samsung again 🌊

This is my thinking also, however, as you aptly pointed out - samsung and informing its customers are words never found in the same sentence.

I think tomorrow is set for India and China going by sammobile ..being regional we probs wont get it on the same day so fingers crossed but yeah I think it's going to be more like mid / late next week. Hopefully I'm wrong

They specified that tomorrow was a global release, so we should definitely be getting it tomorrow, along with India and Middle Eastern countries. If the USA, the UK and Europe have already got it, there's no reason to delay ours any longer.

Where did you read this? From what ive read 14th is set for India and China with no mention of other countries. the release has be staggered/ regional and there are 3 billion people in China/ India so again i could be and hope I'm wrong but don't see it happening. Just don't get your hopes up as we've done numerous times already. And if the article above is true re samsung pulling the software out for the exynos versions we could be waiting even longer but who knows.
